📘 Ganim Inventory User Manual#


1. Logging into Ganim#

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Enter your Ganim login credentials (username and password).
  3. Once logged in, go to the left sidebar and click on Inventory to open the Inventory module. Inventory

2. Navigating the Inventory Dashboard#

You’ll see several top menus:

  • Operations: For all stock movements.

  • Products: To manage your stock items.

  • Reporting: To analyze and get data insights.

  • Configuration: For inventory settings.


3. Receiving and Moving Stock#

To access the different inventory operations: 1. Click Operations from the top menu. Inventory

  1. Use the following options:
  2. Receipts: View incoming shipments.

  3. Deliveries: Track outgoing stock.

  4. Internal Transfers: Move items between locations.

  5. Scrap: Remove damaged or expired stock.

  6. Physical Inventory: Adjust actual stock count.


4. Viewing Warehouse Locations#

  1. Go to ConfigurationLocations. Inventory

  2. You’ll see a list of your warehouses or storage places.

  3. Each location will have a Location Type like Internal, Vendor, etc.

5. Viewing and Adding Products#

  1. Go to ProductsProducts.
  2. You will see all stock items listed.
  3. To add a product: Inventory

  4. Click New. Inventory

  5. Fill in Product Name, set Product Type to Storeable Product.

  6. Optionally assign a category or barcode.
  7. Click Save.

6. Updating Product Quantity#

To add the quantity of an existing product: 1. Open the product.

  1. Click Update Quantity.

  2. Use the displayed form to enter the available quantity Inventory

  3. Enter the correct quantity (e.g., 10).

  4. Click Apply.


7. Checking Quantity on Hand#

  1. Return to the Products list.
  2. The updated Quantity On Hand will be visible on each product.
  3. Click on a product to view detailed movement history and availability.

8. Inventory Reports & Stock Valuation#

  1. Go to ReportingStock:
  2. Moves History: Track detailed stock movements.
  3. Move Analysis: View performance metrics of products. Inventory

  4. To view total inventory value:

  5. Go to ReportingValuation.
  6. See total quantity and total stock worth (e.g., 50 laptops at $500 = $25,000).

9. Basic Configuration#

Go to Configuration to access:

  • Product Categories: Organize your stock types.

  • Reordering Rules: Automate stock replenishment.

  • Attributes: Set properties like brand, size, etc.

These are usually one-time setups to make your stock structured.


10. Importing Products in Bulk#

To save time with large entries:

  1. Go to ProductsProducts.

  2. Click the Favorites icon (star) on the top right. Inventory

  3. Select Import Records.

  4. Click the Import Template for Products to download an excel for adding the products.

Once done, Upload your Excel/CSV file (ensure it includes Product Name, Product Type, Internal Reference, Quantity On Hand). Inventory

To get the format: - Click Load a File, then Download Template.

  1. After upload, click Test to check errors. Inventory

  2. If all looks good, click Import.

Your products will now be available in Ganim.
