Project Notes allow you to document important information, decisions, meetings, and configurations throughout your construction project lifecycle.

Overview#

Project Notes provide:

  • Centralized documentation for project information
  • Meeting minutes and decision tracking
  • Configuration settings management
  • Historical record of project changes
  • Communication and collaboration tool

Accessing Project Notes#

  1. Navigate to your construction project.
  2. Go to Notes menu or tab.
  3. View existing notes or create new ones.

Creating Project Notes#

Basic Note Creation#

  1. Click Create in the Notes section.
  2. Enter note details:
  3. Title: Descriptive title
  4. Project: Link to construction project
  5. Date: Note date
  6. Author: Your name (auto-filled)
  7. Category: Select category (Meeting, Decision, Configuration, etc.)
  8. Content: Detailed note content

Note Categories#

Organize notes by category:

  • Meeting Minutes: Record meeting discussions
  • Decisions: Document important decisions
  • Configuration: Project setup and settings
  • Issues: Problems and resolutions
  • Changes: Scope or plan modifications
  • General: Other project information

Meeting Notes#

Recording Meeting Minutes#

  1. Create a note with category "Meeting Minutes".
  2. Include:
  3. Attendees: List of participants
  4. Agenda: Meeting topics
  5. Discussion Points: Key discussions
  6. Decisions Made: Action items and decisions
  7. Next Steps: Follow-up actions
  8. Action Items: Tasks assigned

Example Meeting Note Structure#

Agenda:

  2. Select report type:

  7. Apply filters and generate report.
